Hello! Welcome to my little corner of the internet, built to showcase my pursuits in acting, writing, coaching and more. My aim is to use my website as a portfolio to showcase my skillset, to offer scriptwriting/coaching services and to track my journey in carving out a path in creative industries..

Having trained at East 15 Acting School and studied at the University of Birmingham, I have developed a collaborative practice, which has supported the development of my career in the arts.

Each strand of my creative pursuits work in tandem when I approach the industry. I wholeheartedly believe that since the best experiences are shared between audience members, we should be nurturing the creative process in the same way.

So feel free to peruse my website; each page serving as a window into my creative soul.

MONOLOGUE: ‘On the Other Hand, We Were Happy’ by Daf James. A play I saw in Edinburgh in 2019 and cried my way through, from the sheer beauty of the writing.

I wanted to be brave and post a bit of ACTING because I’m an ACTOR and I think I’ve been afraid of sharing things for a really long time. I’m trying my best to grow some self confidence and officially flipping the ‘fuck it’ switch, because life’s bloody short.

It’s by no means perfect, but nothing in life is, right?

and just like that, Carousel Theatre’s ‘Summer Holiday’ tour came to an end on Saturday! it’s been 7 weeks of laughter, delirium, music impacting people in astonishing ways. the most fulfilling job, which has taught me a hell of a lot as a performer and as a human. loved it all, miss it already🎉🍦☀️🏆🎤🦵(now, to finally rest and recover!)

SUPPORT THE ARTS AND SUPPORT NEW THEATRE COMPANIES

If you know me well, you’ll know I hate new year celebrations quite deeply. It’s another reminder that time moves forward without my wonderful, hyena-laughing dad. It’s false resets and cold weather without the promise of Christmas looming round the corner. I tried to stay off Instagram to avoid seeing everyone’s highlights, in the hope that this would help.

If anything, it didn’t. I missed the element of celebrating and championing everyone’s successes and achievements, cheerleading from the front row. I’m trying to learn that other people’s successes do not mean that I have failed.

In reality, this year I:
- started finding small joys everywhere, instead of constantly chasing the big happy.
- continued grieving, but in a far healthier way. made some really beautiful memories with my family, without whom I’d simply stall.
- went to my best pal’s wedding as a bridesmaid (first time ever!) and did her makeup, and a load of acorn-based crafts. a true honour, and a memory I’ll always cherish.
- travelled abroad (for the first time in a long time, and solo for the first time ever).
- started saying “yes” a little more, and “no” a lot more.
- moved into a coven in London with the most special people in the whole world.
- performed in 3 glorious shows with talented people bursting at the seams.
- joined an awesome improv troupe, made up of people I really looked up to whilst I was at uni (and still really do).
- began and continued voice physio to support my instrument, and kick started taking several huge steps towards recovery from the car crash (a whopping 4 years ago).
- got 2 gorgeous tattoos - my dogs’ tails and matching teacups
- worked very hard, and taken steps back in order to step forward.
- took 80+ kids to perform on the WEST END with a team of absolute legends, who I adore deeply
- saw LOADS of theatre (not pictured at all).
- ate really good food (2.5 years pescatarian, with loads more vegan days woo).
- opened 2025 enjoying New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day fully, for the first time ever.

So here’s to “new year”, but same me. Slowly allowing myself to be braver with enjoying life shamelessly, guiltlessly and wholeheartedly.

Life recently❤️

The social media battle is knowing that everyone posts their highlight reel, often erasing struggles, failures and hard times. On the other side of the coin, the glowing moments posted online serve as reminders that we are gifted with some wonderful moments. Blessed with connections to friends, family and loved ones. Fortunate to live another day with the sun rising and setting. We are so lucky to celebrate birthdays, share meals and memories, travel the world.

I am often trapped in the doom-spiral panic that life is far too short, plagued with anxiety and grief that I am not “doing it right”. But making my own highlight reel gave me the wake-up call that I needed. I am living, I am alive and I am in love with life.

2023 was a rocky ride, and of course it’s another year beginning without dad. But 2023 was filled with micro-adventures and great friends. Here’s to everyone who made my year what it was, and here’s to what the future holds💕

HUGEST love to every single person at @monopolylifesized, I’ve been thoroughly lucky to have met some of the most talented, kind, HILARIOUS, generous performers during my 6 months at monops. every single one has held me up in moments where they didn’t even realise. these 6 months have been turbulent but phenomenal, and I wouldn’t change anything for the world.

HUGEST love to every single person at @monopolylifesized, I’ve been thoroughly lucky to have met some of the most talented, kind, HILARIOUS, generous performers during my 6 months at monops. every single one has held me up in moments where they didn’t even realise. these 6 months have been turbulent but phenomenal, and I wouldn’t change anything for the world.

The Dog House, Channel 4, Thursday 5th January at 8pm. New series - and I’ve heard the first episode is pretty damn good.

My family and I adopted two beautiful dogs last year to support us with our grief journey. Most of you know how I have always wanted a dog. Some of you have met them and first hand have seen the joy they bring. A handful of you are the lucky receivers of daily photos of Sadie’s sticking out tongue or Stevie’s post-nap flat face. But we didn’t necessarily get them in the most conventional way…

Sadie and Stevie are perfect evidence of the amazing work that Wood Green Animal Shelter do. Every day, they put the warmest energy into caring for animals in need of rescue and rehoming. We visited them last October to meet some dogs…and the experience was captured and documented by the beautiful Channel 4 programme - THE DOG HOUSE.

Mum and I watched this series during lockdown and fell head over heels in love with it. It’s ‘Long Lost Families’ meets ‘First Dates’ meets ‘Paul O’Grady: For the Love of Dogs’. The series is about matching families with stories to tell with dogs in need of a new home. Last year, when our world came crashing down, we needed a lifeboat. Found the application on Instagram, and the rest is history!

We’ll be on TV (or on All4 afterwards) this Thursday evening! We’re ready to share our story with the world, and to hopefully inspire at least 1 family struggling with grief to find their own means of finding joy. It’s certainly not an easy feat, but our girls have been a hugely pivotal part of our lives, and a perfect addition to our family!

Dear Dad (and others reading this),

I’ve only just gotten to the point where I can listen to your music without bursting into tears immediately. (although there are a few songs that I’ll cry near the end, that Bitter Creek bridge is just too good). I miss harmonising with you in the car, seeing you tapping the steering wheel to the beat and munching some skittles whilst listening to The Beatles’ Abbey Road or The Eagles’ Desperado. I miss hearing the very specific “ahh”s and “ohh”s you’d make when you’d hear a song you particularly loved. We really connected over how much music affected us, and it’s something I really hold onto.

I never do this. I’m always so scared to share my voice because I’m a perfectionist at heart. But I wanted to acknowledge dad’s birthday in some way that wasn’t just a photo and a caption. I wanted to share this part of our bond and remind those who knew my dad just how much he loved his music. So here it is, mistakes and all. I am also doing this to prove to myself that I can do things that aren’t perfect and the world doesn’t end. No makeup, missed chords, bum notes and all.

I said this last year and I’ll say it again - if you can make someone laugh in honour of my fantastic dad this week, please do❤️
